Elizabeth Jane Hurley is an English model and actress who was a friend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. As Grant was in the spotlight of attention in the media in connection with his world-wide box-office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in the black plunged Versace dress that was secured by security pins in gold. Her appearance in the media gained her instant fame. Hurley's association in the company of Estee Lauder, a cosmetics manufacturer, has been regarded as the apex of her professional career. The first time Hurley was a model, she started her career at Estee Lauder, when she aged 29. She's been modeling since 1995 to promote their cosmetics, notably perfumes like Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures.
