Elizabeth Jane Hurley is an English model and actress who was a friend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. As Grant was in the spotlight of attention in the media in connection with his world-wide box-office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in the black plunged Versace dress that was secured by security pins in gold. Her appearance in the media gained her instant fame. Hurley's association in the company of Estee Lauder, a cosmetics manufacturer, has been regarded as the apex of her professional career. The first time Hurley was a model, she started her career at Estee Lauder, when she aged 29. She's been modeling since 1995 to promote their cosmetics, notably perfumes like Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. The most famous film performance was in the role of Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley designs and models an exclusive line of swimwear. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's early attempts to fame in the mainstream were unsuccessful, with two record labels signing the singer and then pulling her out before they released any songs. Capitol Records released Perry's Ur So Gay EP in 2007 and it garnered modest interest for its cheerfully playful title track. The song I Loved a Girl was a more assertive ode sexism backed with the hard-edged rhythm of electro-pop. It quickly sparked controversy, as critics criticized its promotion of same-sex relationships and some argued that the racy scenario it decried aided masculine fantasies about sexuality. I Kissed a Girl became an international number-one single due to the combination of titillation with a polished tune. It also helped drive sales for her 2008 album of the same name, One of the Boys. Its bouncy, sharp-tongued and bouncy second song Hot N Cold also proving to be a hit, the album that Perry recorded herself later registered sales of more than 3 million copies across the United States.
